Happy Thanksgiving from Picture This Photography!
It makes me so happy to have a day to take a day off, (haha except I am writing a blog at 5 am!) happy to have time to reflect, enjoy, EAT GREAT FOOD, and toast to the important people and things in our lives. So I will say it again…Happy Thanksgiving from Picture This Photography! I hope that everyone takes a moment to reflect and gives thanks for not only what we have but who we are. I am thankful to be surrounded by loving, giving people called my FAMILY! My family that supports my crazy ideas I seem to come up with and roll with the punches in life!
What are you grateful for?
It just is so hard to believe another year has traveled by. So much in life stays the same, so much changes. This year I am extremely GRATEFUL for my FRIENDS…… the ones that make me laugh and cry! We’ve had a hard few years with the loss of some amazing friends. I’ll say yet again, Cancer sucks…. but there is a greater plan for us all that we don’t always understand. It’s really about the little, everyday things.

And I am definitely GRATEFUL that another successful year in business. Another year with wonderful clients that become friends. In the crazy industry of photography, I am so happy that clients find me, appreciate the work I do, and allow me to create with them. After thinking about the typical life span of a business being 5-7 years, I cherish that fact I have been in business for over 17 years now! WOW, i really don’t know where the time has gone either. I am also grateful for those in the industry that believe in community, giving, and learning together. What a great group of creatives I get to surround myself with. This coming year I will be attending two fantastic conferences in Jan and Feb that will fill my creative cup!
And speaking of grateful, giving, and generous. This years Portrait FOOD RAISER held on November 1st, has a new amount of food we donated. One days work we came up with 417 pounds of food donated. Thank you to all that participated AND GAVE so generously! That’s what I am talking about!
