Sometimes people come into your lives with such passion, excitement, love, joy, & friendship you never really know what hit you!   One such person is Drake Edwards and was a friend to everyone he meant.

Drake  was tragically killed in a car accident Dec. 23, 2012.

Drake was a fun-loving, song singing, Banjo playing, Jesus praising, snowboarding FREAK!  At the age of 20, that guy had found his way into zillions of lives.  Touching each of us like we were his best friend.  He truly had a gift of gab and a gift of friendship.

You always knew when Drake was around… by not only the noise he could create but the laughter he was a part of.  Drake, you did good.

 Drake was not only a friend to us (yes AND to all zillion of us) but also was a rep for my business, helping out when he could and doing his thing.  Drake was really such a joy to have around, always full of laughter and joy.  We are so blessed to have had his friendship!

In his honor, Kylie, my daughter and I wanted to do something to carry his spirit with us each and every day.  Drake lived life-like there was no tomorrow, no regrets, and full of ambition.  She designed wristbands and we had them made…. and if you’d like one, let me know.  Kylie is out of reach until the end of the month, but she  will also have a few.  We have them for Young Life friends, Snowboard Team, SPU, and some extras.

Picture This Photography is also creating a portrait scholarship in Drake’s name, based on character.  With the blessing of Drake’s parents, Jim & Julie, I am developing how it will be awarded to an upcoming senior.  This is a way i can share my passion, gift, and business in Drake’s name.   (Feb/March)

Drake was a man of character, pride, passion, joy, and love.

May we all carry  Drake’s spirit with us by being better people, more joyful, loving, & adventuresome each and every day!
