Last few days at our Oregon Professional Photographers convention were amazing! I had not attended for years, but what a great decision….for both time and money!   Reconnecting with some photographer friends was a double whammy on the fun factor!  The first day I spent watching print competition and hear the judging.   I didn’t have time to enter this year, but next year is ON!  There is so much to be learned from the master photographers, about not only what they look for in the images, but it changes the way you think when you compose the image.  A few friends merited images which is so very exciting and yes metal bling.

The next few days were solid learning… the line up was superb.  The ironic thing, all four speakers were photographers I had heard at other conventions the last two years and the WOW factor is amazing!  Such knowledge, talent, and most importantly business inelegance!   The last day we ended creating some composite images… I wish I had the image to share, as it was pure brilliance.  Dan is purely speedy, creative, and busting with energy, only to be matched by his equally talented and lovely wife Alex!

My head is swirling… and it may take a few days to absorb what went into my brain, but am very excited to implement business changes.  It’s great to get rejuvenated for work…I am so blessed to be touched by these people!
