I had the pleasure of meeting and working with one of the sweetest families I have ever meant.
Ashlie and Jason have 3 darling kids. Jack and Twin Hannah, are age 3 with big brother Zach who’s 5. Jack was diagnosed with ALL in January of 2012 at age Two. (Acute lymphoblastic leukemia) Since then he’s been on an intensive chemo/drug therapy that will continue for another 3 years. Meeting Jack, you’d never know he is going through such a battle. He had energy, smiles galore, and such a happy disposition during the session, it made us all smile! (although i did wear him out, sorry Ashlie & Jason)
Jack had just received a very special package in the mail last week. A pair of custom designed shoes from Peaches Neet Feet! He Ran & Ran & Ran while we photographed… it was so cute with Ryan & Hannah! He is very proud of his new shoes and we all know those Cancer Kicking shoes will help him Run to health!
So Meet the family… seriously, how cute are they!?!?!
One of the things I love about volunteering, is meeting such great families. Families that are going through rough times, but know the importance in life: Health, Happiness, and Love.
As a volunteer photographer for The F.I.L.M. Project, we give our time and talents helping such families capture lasting memories. I am the lucky one to have such sweetness come into my life!
