Getting (more) Educated!

Like any business, education is a vital part of the photography business.

One aspect that separates the professionals is the knowledge we possess. The time and work it takes to gain that knowledge is not always known to many. But, in today’s world with images EVERYWHERE you look:, FB, IG, Twitter, Snap Chat… the need to create something unique for our clients is so vitally important.

Education for me takes form mainly through Professional Photographers of America and other credited programs. I love to learn from Master photographers. Those that are seasoned in knowledge I can learn and grow from.

Last year I spent months becoming a C.P.P. (Certified Professional Photographer) and now I am taking a class on extreme sports montage. This area captures athletes and shows their skills.

My vision with this area is not only with athletes, but with all sorts of interests and hobbies with ALL my clients. It will especially be fun with athletes.

I think it’s my personal (and professional) trek to create something unique and special for my clients, something out of the ordinary.

So for this project I put a call out for a few models. I will show the before and after images then when the class is complete in a few short week, we will show the final montage after I create it! We’ll start with Dean… a lacrosse athlete that is so much fun. Willing to try whatever I needed and with an amazing presence with the camera.
