WHATS MY LEGACY?
When re branding over the past year, I thought about why I create, WHY it’s important to me. I changed my busienss name, changed logo, changed my mission statement and my tag line.
I worked on what I represent, what my business represents, and how I wanted to be seen as a creative.
My tagline: Tell your Story. Create your Legacy.
Over the past six months and my daughter being in an accident that had fatalities, it sure made me think a lot about legacy and what am I leaving when your journey here on earth is complete.
I truly believe my legacy is creating for you! It was a confirmation

I am meant to be doing, creating for my clients. Creating images they will cherish and have for generations to come.
Don’t worry I have created over the years and have plenty of wall portraits currently hanging in my home.
What is your legacy?
What are you leaving in printed images for the next generation?
Prints, what have you printed lately?
Have you created a cherished portrait of your family recently?
Just think about it, ponder what you are leaving your children and future ancestors.
Technology, so many items are digitally created. What are you leaving for your future children and grandchildren?
I’m also guilty of leaving the photo’s on my phone when I talke them, I try, but they don’t always get printed.
For my daughters birthday I gathered snap shots from friends, printed them and put into a custom photo box.
Priceless gift, for her to reflect on the good times she’s had and great times ahead.
It reminded her of the support and love she has everyday.
Powerful thoughts and words, right?
Recently I completed a canvas grouping for a client. A family with adult kids, it just made me smile. The smaller groupings with the girlfriends in them.
It’s where they are right now in life, she sent me a photo of them hanging on the walls, she’s so happy she took the time, invested in portraiture and is loving her new home.
These are cherished images, the right now stuff. The next set of images will be a wedding, then possibly her grand children.
What I am saying is, ANYTIME is the perfect time to create your legacy. Capture your family now, create something worth hanging large on the wall, or create an album, or why not both!
We are excited about the summer and have time to create for you.
I will be at the beach July 22-28th, one of my favorite things is creating beach images.
One of my personal favorites is the canvas is on the wall in my office. Jason and the girls when they were grade school, with two of our dogs that were three dogs ago, Meko and Maddie. They were a few dogs ago.
Priceless.
