2017 West Linn Portrait Food Raiser

November 4th and 5th, 5th annual Portrait Food Raiser which Benefits the West Linn Food Pantry!

We have raised over 1600 lbs in four years.  It started from a letter of need from the West Linn Food Pantry, they were low on donations.  As a local business owner there is no better way for me to help those in need.  It all began there.   It is now an annual event.  Families donating food to help those in our community that are in need.

It’s exciting to see it continue to help our community feed those in need.

You ask, what is a “portrait food raiser?” I create portraits to raise food.

I offer complimentary 10-15 minute Portrait Sessions in exchange for a bag of food being donated.  The food pantry is in constant need of the basic foods.  Here are top items in need: canned fruit, chili and peanut butter.

Each year we have increased the donations our great community has made.  You can drop off food at Nancy’s office from anytime now on through Nov. 5th.  the location-TBA, closer to the date pending our NW weather!
