PTP Seniors and creating with Off Camera Flash ~ Happy Tuesday… thought I’d do a bit of client education today!
Being a creative… as professional photographer, there are times and places you need more than natural light on location. I thought it’d be fun to show what we’ve been up to and how it’s done. Sarah is a pretty Kool Kat… she’s just committed to playing D1 Golf at Colorado State University. It’s a fantastic school and oh Gosh, such a beautiful location in Fort Collins, in the Colorado sunshine, and snow… it’s going to be fun ride Miss Sarah!
Why do you need to know this? Well, because we wanted to incorporate her Golf into her senior session… it’s what she does for fun, for work (yes playing college sports is a fun job!) and it defines how she spends a LOT of hours in her life. Kind of like my job, seems like play but it’s lots of work! I want to be able to offer clients something different and unique… something that makes their portraits really stand out, and shows her in her element.
Enough words…. here’s some images to compare.
Natural light is lovely, beautiful, graceful, and does the job. Add a bit of Off Camera Flash and BAM, kind of nice add a bit of punch eh? Left Images Natural Light Right Images with some added punch of OCF. Each image is Equally beautiful and fun.
Do you see the grass flying? Yep.. bit of action in that image on the top right!
This show a bit that differentiates the professional photographers. Time, equipment, training, education, and knowledge. It’s wonderful to have a creative job, where work may seem like play!
